Honourable Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister for Foreign Affairs, is visiting Oman leading a Nepali delegation on 14-20 February 2025 to participate in the “8th Indian Ocean Conference”, which is being held in Muscat with the theme of ‘Voyage to New Horizons of Maritime Partnership,’ at the invitation of H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman.
During the visit, in addition to addressing the Conference in the plenary titled ‘Amplifying the voice of Global South,’ the Hon. Foreign Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with H.E. the Foreign Minister, H.E. the Minister of Energy and Minerals and other relevant Ministries of Oman, and also conclude few MoUs in areas of mutual cooperation. Further, Hon. Foreign Minister will hold meetings with other counterparts on the margin of the conference.
The Hon. Foreign Minister will hold a virtual meeting with Nepali Ambassadors and Heads of Mission based in the GCC countries and address the Nepali community during her stay in Muscat.
